Day 01: Hanoi arrival

Xin Chao Hanoi, the vibrant capital of Vietnam! The tour guide will pick you up and take you to the hotel.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace - whether you prefer to relax and unwind or go out to explore the charms of Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi sightseeing & food tasting

Wake up early if you wish and immerse in a local morning exercise routine around the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake. Have breakfast at the hotel.

 

At 8:00 AM, start your day tour exploring Hanoi's prominent landmarks with the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex. And explore the iconic One-pillar Pagoda and the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university.

 

In the afternoon, choose from a selection of captivating museums: the Women's Museum, Ethnology Museum, or the National History Museum. Later, take a leisurely stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, visiting the monuments and statues of the influential Kings Le Thai To and Ly Thai To, who played key roles in the capital city's establishment and development. Visit the Ngoc Son Temple, home to a legendary turtle.

 

Continue the adventure with a cyclo ride through Hanoi's Old Quarter - a labyrinth of streets offering countless photo opportunities. Next, indulge in a delightful food-tasting tour, tasting local specialties such as Bun Cha, Banh Goi (Pillow cake), Nom Bo Kho (beef salad), Banh Cuon (rice paper rolls), Snail with tamarind sauce, and more.

Conclude the day with a cup of Hanoi's special egg coffee at a century-old family shop.

Return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Day 03: Hanoi – Pu Luong

At 08:00 AM, after breakfast, embark on a scenic journey, traversing rustic country landscapes en route to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Upon arrival in Pu Luong, check into your private room at Pu Luong Retreat and savor a delicious lunch.

 

In the afternoon, after a nice break to rest, head to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, marking the starting point of your exploration in search of captivating water wheels. Approach each wheel closely and uncover the ingenious mechanisms that transfer water from the river to handcrafted bamboo aqueducts through various small-scale constructions.

 

When reach a local fisherman’s house, take a brief rest to prepare for an exciting bamboo river rafting experience with a local team. Drift along the serene river, soaking in the scenic views while learning the art of paddling and steering your meticulously crafted rafts.

 

As you reach the picturesque Tan Lap Bridge, back to Pu Luong Retreat. Make the most of your time at the swimming pool, reveling in the surroundings as you witness the sun setting over the mountains.

Enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night at Pu Luong, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the nature reserve.

Day 04: Pu Luong trekking – Ha Noi

After breakfast, at 8:00 AM, embark on a descent into the enchanting valley that gazes upon the village. Go along the meandering rice terraces, strolling through narrow paths adorned with lush vegetation that gradually unveils a charming village nestled at the foot of a majestic mountain.

 

Continuing your journey to the valley's base, traverse a landscape adorned with roads and farmlands, villages and untamed fields, ponds and rivers, alongside mountains and expansive open spaces. Feast your eyes with the ever-shifting scenery as you trek towards a scenic destination.

 

Note: Discuss with your guide to determine the preferred length of the walk - whether it be a 3-kilometer or 5-kilometer route.

Check out from the lodge and embarking on a drive back to Hanoi.

Day 05: Hanoi - Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay cruise

Breakfast is at the hotel. At 8:00 AM, depart from Hanoi and head to Halong Bay, recognized twice by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site because of its outstanding natural beauty and cultural significance. Along the way, we'll pass through the beautiful farmlands of the Red River Delta. 

 

On board and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch during the cruise through the spectacular bay of dramatic islands, floating villages, and mirror-like water of Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. Visit a huge limestone cave full of stalactites and stalagmites and spend the rest of the day swimming and paddle kayak or just simply relax on the top deck in the spectacular sunset.

Day 06: Halong Bay – Hanoi

Rise with the early morning sun to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the mesmerizing landscape of the bay, accompanied by a steaming cup of tea or coffee.

 

After breakfast, embark on a rowing boat excursion to explore a floating village. Subsequently, continue your cruise to discover another enchanting section of Halong Bay.

 

Lunch will be served as you leisurely cruise back towards the harbor, savoring the scenic views along the way. In the early afternoon, around 11:00 to 11:30, commence the journey back to Hanoi.
